They say everything is bigger in Texas and the 2010 NBA All-Star Game in Dallas promises be that and more. The 59th All-Star Game will be played on Feb. 14 at the new Cowboys Stadium in Arlington and will feature a crowd that could break the all-time NBA attendance record. The old All-Star record was 44,735 people at the Houston Astrodome in 1989. The largerst ever regular season NBA game was 62,046 at the Georgia Dome in 1998 to see the Atlanta Hawks play Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls. The 2010 All-Star game should shatter this record with a crowd approaching 80,000.
With Kobe back as a starter along with NBA stars LeBron James, Dwight Howard, Dwyane Wade, Steve Nash and others, it's fitting that the league will be playing this year's All-Star Game at the world's largest domed stadium.
